Anyone who really knows me knows I am a misanthropic bastard who could give less of a shit about people in general. I also can't stand materialistic people, which means by the time December rolls around, EVERYONE is materialistic. Therefore, I refuse to celebrate corporate bullshittery just because the days are short.

Also, why oh why are people all-of-a-sudden generous this time of year? Why not all year round? It proves to me how false and phony people are. I hate their advertised shouts to donate to this, give to that, and all this junk.....simply because the days are short.

Also, children. "Do it for the children!" No.

I wish people would celebrate the solstice, in its simplicity and natural happenings. None of this Santa bullshit, none of this Jesus bullshit, and none of this GO OUT AND MAX OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD! bullshit.
